The Amory Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor crimes, municipal ordinances, city traffic violations, and various other violations of the Mississippi Code of 1972 Annotated.

Can I mail in my payment on a fine?
Cases not requiring a court appearance may be mailed in some instances. Contact the Court Clerk to verify mail-in eligibility. Do not use physical address for payments. Mail to:

When is my court date?
If you received a ticket, your court date can be found at the bottom of your ticket. Court is located at the Monroe County Government Complex at 1619 Highland Drive in Amory, Mississippi and starts promptly at 5:00 P.M.

Where is court?
Amory Municipal Court is NOT held at City Hall. You must report to the Monroe County Government Complex by 5:00 p.m. on your court date at 1619 Highland Drive Amory. This is the large building with a pond in front near the Amory High School area/Blvd Drive.

What forms of payment do you take?
Cash, cashier’s check, credit/debit card, or money order.

Where do I pay for a ticket/traffic violation?

If your ticket is blue in color, it is a ticket from the City of Amory. You need to go to the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, or call 662-256-5721 (3).

If you receive a ticket from the Mississippi State Highway Patrol, you need to visit the Justice Court Room at the Monroe County Government Complex, or call 662-256-8493 for more information.
